Gilbert Jamault is a certified electrician who has worked in the film industry as a generator operator since 1994. He understands the fast pace and productions power requirements, and knows there are more economical and environmentally friendly ways to supply power.

Daniel Gagnon has built and managed a very successful business based on repeat clients for the past 25 years . He brings his business savvy and relentless pursuit of customer satisfaction to Westar Power & Lighting.

TEMPORARY HIGH VOLTAGE SUBSTATIONS AND TRANSFORMER / DISTRIBUTION UNITS INSTALLATIONS AND RENTALS

Whatever your electrical requirements are , we will assess how much power we can draw from an existing 600 or 480 volt systems or design a high voltage substation installation . We don't just rent out equipment. We do all the designing , installation ,dealings with local inspection authorities , engineering reports and BC Hydro requirements. All of our equipment is built to meet and exceed UL and CSA standards .

PORTABLE 1000 KVA HIGH VOLTAGE SUBSTATIONS

1000 KVA 12.5/25 KV to 600 volt camlocks out . Complete with BC Hydro specifications metering. These substations along with our step down units would supply eight 400 amp 120/208 volt switches. This would replace eight 1200 amp generators.

300 KVA AND 150 KVA TRANSFORMER/DISTRIBUTION UNITS

These 300 KVA and 150 KVA units have integrated 400 amp protection on the 120/208 volt secondary . We have 600 volt and 480 volt primary units . As well as 208 volt to 600 volt step up units.

75 KVA 480 OR 600 VOLT TO 120/208 VOLT UNITS.

These units have a built in panel and 20 amp 120 volt outlets . Paired with our spider boxes they provide all voltage

options for 20 amp and 30 amp twist locks , perfect for construction departments , lock ups , work trucks , special effects equipment , heaters , or anywhere you need "off set" power.
